Genius, mediocrity, or jerk.

When I was living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I briefly served as a stock clerk in a liquor store. I'll never forget how irate a co-worker was when he read the papers the day after John Lennon's murder. "Why are they glorifying this clown! He promoted drug abuse!" For the first time, I really saw the perspective of a concerned parent. I can't remember his name, but that assistant manager (Jack???) was a father whose daughter was on the verge of entering the scary teen years. No wonder the media angered him!

It's often interesting to see the world from another's perspective. He did make a very good point!
