1. Open "Control Panel" in XP

2. Click "Sounds, Speech, and Audio..."

3. In the new Window, click "Speech" (at lower right)

4. Click "Preview Voice" and Microsoft Sam will read what's in the text box.

5. Now... delete his text box introduction and type what you like.

6. Click "Preview Voice" to hear Sam read what you wrote.
