Giselle, who lives in an actual fairy tale, is sent by an evil queen to real-world New York City. The nasty matriarch does not want Giselle to marry her son.
Amy Adams does a great job as she transforms herself from a person with the typical fairy-tale thoughts and emotions to a woman who finds real love.
Uneven, manipulative, and a little sentimental but it has some moments of real humor and great charm. Good family fare. I wish I had a young daughter with which to watch it.
